Andras TuskeAndras Tuske (András Tüske) is a Hungarian born classical guitarist and composer. He began learning the guitar at the age of 15 and soon became a student of István Adrovicz at the Zoltán Kodály Conservatory of Music in Debrecen, Hungary. He completed his studies in Adelaide (South Australia) in 1993 at the Elder School of Music, University of Adelaide. He has had master classes with John Williams, Maximo Pujol, David Tannenbaum, Carlo Barone, Bill Kossler, Tim Kain and Isolde Schaupp. He has given concerts in Hungary, Germany, England, Austria, Norway, Ukraine, Finland and Australia. John Williams described his playing as "very musical". Andras was invited to give concerts at the Adelaide Spring Festival in 1996, 1998, 2000; and the Adelaide Guitar Fair in 1997. He has given inerviews and live performances for several radio stations (ABC, 5UV, EBI etc.) and television stations (Channel 7, Channel 9, Hungarian TV1, RTL). Andras was also invited to adjudicate in several competitions, including the Western Australian Guitar Ensembles Festival in 2001. He was a lecturer at the Elder School of Music, Univesity of Adelaide. Since 1994 Andras has been specializing in the Suzuki Method and he was the first Suzuki Guitar Teacher Trainer in Australia.
